Philosophy is the historical foundation of all academic disciplines and continues to address the most fundamental and relevant questions of human existence, the meaning, the nature, and the morality of ourselves and the world around us. Central to philosophy is the development of careful and clear reasoning and related skills in research, writing, communication, and creativity.
