ENVS 2000 - Applied Sustainable Design

An introductory course in sustainable homestead design. The course focuses on topics critical to planning, design and creating a sustainable home. Topics include zone planning, sustainable construction, solar power, energy efficiency, water supply, waste and wastewater management, and agriculture/premaculture. Lectures will be augmented and field trips and on-site project experimentation, design, and construction.
