AMSL 1010 - American Sign Language and Deaf Culture II

AMSL-1010 builds on the skills learned in AMSL 1000 to improve communication and awareness of the Deaf community and culture. More emphasis is placed on language production and spontaneous communication. Field experiences at the MS School for the Deaf, supervised by AMSL-1010 faculty, enhances students’ abilities for effective communication.

Prerequisites: AMSL 1000 or equivalent placement score
