EDUC 2140 - Teach Toward Equity for Exceptional Learners 4 Semester Hours How are learners with special needs educated successfully? This introductory course examines the characteristics and etiologies of high- and low -incidence disabilities and other special needs, exploring legal foundations; educational practices and procedures; and advocacy roles for professionals working with individuals with special needs. The needs of students with dyslexia is given special emphasis.
