BIOL 2000 - Genetics

BIOL-2000 examines the historical/developmental treatment of theories of biological inheritance with an emphasis on the process of scientific discovery. The course includes Mendelian, cytogenetic, bacterial, and molecular approaches to questions about the nature and function of genetic material. The laboratory component consists of investigative experiences in molecular genetics.

Prerequisites: BIOL 1000; Sophomore Standing
